in a mere couple of hours this girl is going to be rockin’ out to gavin rossdale’s newest musical endeavor. it’s gonna be so fucking awesome…i mean, i don’t know how it will sound exactly, but it’s something new. something i’ve never heard before. and he was my first major musical crush ever — if you don’t count the monkees, because i was five — and i loveded him!

on the one hand, i got to watch football last night. and that was immensely cool. on the other hand, i didn’t get to see my boys play. only sporadic updates and clips during game breaks on the steelers/redskins game; and unfortunately, turnovers sank them. 17-16 cardinals on a lousy fucking turnover.
some day…soon, soon, i’ll be able to see a raiders game, and hopefully they will do ok. or, not let turnovers get them.
i mean, the offense is hot this year, collins is shaping up to be a decent QB and we have randy moss now. i miss tim brown, though. but lamont jordan is making strides, and we still have charles woodson and jerry porter and philip buchanan — all the original baby daddies. the formula for a great season is there, they have the ingredients, they just need to mix it up right. [insert additional cliche here] anyway, i have faith in my boys. i always have.
i suppose it’s good i haven’t acutally seen any of their losses, preseason or not, it is frustrating. though, in the long run, it’s better that they work out the kinks preseason than later.
