my tuesday is in an awful disguise. it started feeling like a wretched monday pretty early on this morning. this is not a good thing. in fact, the only thing worse than having to go to work at the end of a totally spiffy long weekend is: having to go to work at the end of a totally spiffy long weekend and starting off the work week crappily. uber-crappily. or rather, pissily.

or you know, trying to get ready in the morning and stepping in a patch of still-soggy cat pee. yum yum! that’s fucking exactly what i needed, clearly. leave it to the fat one to fuck up my day from the get-go. really, seriously, i truly hate that thing with an all-consuming rage. hate hate hate hate hate. so.fucking.much.

you know, the only bad thing about a three-day weekend is when the realization that you have to actually go to work the next day finally hits you. for me, ’twas about 8:00 p.m. monday night that it hit me. ugh. of course, the flip-side to that little coin of knowledge is sunday evening when you’re bouncing around full of ‘i don’t work tomorrow!!!’ glee. that’s nice.

this…not so much.

that, and it’s hotter than a crotch out. or it was. it’s finally cooling down around these parts, but that’s just cuz the evil, fiery demon sun finally disappeared. fuckin’ sun, i hate you! seriously, the new england sun is some sort of evil entity completely different from the sun anywhere else. it brings on the humidity & the blinding light of ruined sleep. it also is not useful enough to keep houseplants alive or skin from going all pasty & pale. cuz i am, yo. this is the palest i’ve been. and every year i’m out here, i just get paler. it’s a travesty, really. fuckin’ new england sun. it’s evil. and these days, i don’t even tan anymore. so…yeah, fuck the sun!

makes weekends lovely.
really, it does.

i’ve broken out the trusty blender and lugged home a whole BOX of liquor and thus my weekend is freaking awesome thus far. nothing to do, no obligations, no work on monday and an x-men movie to see on sunday and i’m feelin’ fine. yup, it doesn’t really get better than this, at this moment. of course, i haven’t even gotten into the popsicles yet, and have a whole two more days of weekend ahead of me. aw yeah.

ooooh ooohh, and before i forget: i totally fucking won! weeeeeeeeeee! take that evil-face-raping-bitch! i kicked your ass! woooo-weeee!!! (no, i’m not drunk yet) and it is a big fucking deal because i’ve consistently lost at that game left & right since the boy got it no matter what. cuz the final character in the game is so fucking hard to beat and she rapes the hell out of your face if you try to fight her.

and last night? i fucking beat her ass! YAY! it’s never going to happen again!!! weeee! of course, a good deal of it probably had to do with the fact that i was playing with a pretty spiffy charcater — who was suspiciously clothed considering the game — rather than relying on any sort of skill i might have. because i don’t, really. at all. no, seriously…i suck so freakishly hardcore at this game that there is no way this is ever going to happen again. in fact, i wish it had’ve been better celebrated, ya know? it’s a rare occurence. like a god damned eclipse or something.

i fucking rock. clearly.

you know, it’s true, waiting is the hardest part. of like, anything. more than the spazzy nervousness that devours my brainmeats, anticipating something totally screws with my processes hardcore.

and i know, i know, i know i should have like “patience” or some crap like that, buuuuuut…i can’t help it. things are about to get really, really awesome work-wise and i want it to happen now, you know? besides, i’m completely anal about planning and budgeting and analyzing like…everything, so i want to be able to adjust my plans & whatnot accordingly. furthermore, job #1 is licking hairy donkey balls and that’s merely extrapolating the restlessness that’s eating me right now. then there’s everyone at job #2 who’s rallying behind me and inquiring and whatnot and it makes me want it more. besides, everyone here is really spiffy. it’s just…i don’t know how to occupy my mind with anything other than nervous anticipation.

i suppose this is why people need pr0n.
